She wanted the invitation for her wedding at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island to reflect the grandeur and elegance of the Gilded Age. The custom-designed family crest was embossed on the elegant ensemble.
The accordian fold of this 2-color invitation gives the feeling of a race as it's opened and draws in the viewer. To add to the excitement, "The Call to Post" plays upon opening. Click here to see it play...
The silver ticket by Checkerboard was just the beginning. A translucent star-covered vellum which wraps the invitation, is fastened with the school's embossed seal and placed in black envelopes with a silver-stamped return address.
And so an armadillo theme it was, complete with a metal armadillo sculpture on-site. We found an etching-like armadillo drawing for the invitation, which was mailed in a kraft-bag envelope.
A stunning letterpress Save-the-Date by Dauphine Press adorned with delicate gold and celedon peonies - the bride's favorite flower to be used in her bouquet - did just that. A nice example of classic taste and modern style.
We custom-designed an invitation complete with metallic papers throughout and custom calligraphy foil-stamped on the cover. Sophisticated and elegant, yet still exciting and fun!
