The bride had fallen in love with bell'Invito's beautiful thick papers, beveled edges and exquisite liner offerings.

She wanted the invitation for her wedding at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island to reflect the grandeur and elegance of the Gilded Age. The custom-designed family crest was embossed on the elegant ensemble.

The client wanted an invitation for a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraising event which would inspire participation but not break the bank.

The accordian fold of this 2-color invitation gives the feeling of a race as it's opened and draws in the viewer. To add to the excitement, "The Call to Post" plays upon opening. Click here to see it play...

The University of Alabama chose a black and silver color scheme for a special recognition dinner entitled "Stars Fell on Alabama".

The silver ticket by Checkerboard was just the beginning. A translucent star-covered vellum which wraps the invitation, is fastened with the school's embossed seal and placed in black envelopes with a silver-stamped return address.

Southern weddings... traditional, formal, beautiful. Yet this bride wanted something distinctively their own.

An engraved filigree cross – the traditional symbol of a Christian marital union – and custom hand-done calligraphy throughout, completed this formal one-of-a-kind wedding ensemble.

An invitation to set the tone for a daytime party at a hunting camp in Alabama, which had been described as "not elegant or antibellum, more armadillo".

And so an armadillo theme it was, complete with a metal armadillo sculpture on-site. We found an etching-like armadillo drawing for the invitation, which was mailed in a kraft-bag envelope.

A client wanted a monogram motif for the 2011 Queen of Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama which - among a variety of other uses - could be incorporated into the train of the royal robes.

The monogram was custom-designed and used on the placecards, as well as on linens and accessories.

A bride was looking for something that was clean and fresh, yet sophisticated and modern to set the tone of her upcoming nuptials.

A stunning letterpress Save-the-Date by Dauphine Press adorned with delicate gold and celedon peonies - the bride's favorite flower to be used in her bouquet - did just that. A nice example of classic taste and modern style.

"C'est Magnifique"... Black and metallic silver was the chosen color scheme for a University of Alabama President's Cabinet Dinner.

We custom-designed an invitation complete with metallic papers throughout and custom calligraphy foil-stamped on the cover. Sophisticated and elegant, yet still exciting and fun!

Bryant Denny Stadium, home of University of Alabama's Crimson Tide, planned a Grand Opening to celebrate their expansion. They wanted the architect’s rendering on the invitation; the rest was up in the air. We turned the drawing into the invitation to open the stadium to the fans! Sealed in a translucent envelope with the Athletic Department’s Rocking A and a stamp to match, it couldn't have made a bigger statement. Roll Tide, Roll!
